He proudly served as the Chief of Staff for Fort Bend County Commissioner, managing intricate projects and fostering crucial local, state, and federal government relations. This role provided invaluable insights into local government, government procurement, and the intricacies of project management.

Ahmad has also held positions within the City of Houston, overseeing constituent services, policy development, and delivering innovative solutions.

In the nonprofit sector, Ahmad held C-suite positions, including a notable stint as a Public Policy Officer for a Community Health Center. He played a pivotal role in achieving legislative successes during the 88th session, shaping policies for a positive impact on the community. In roles such as Outreach Director and Development Director for various local nonprofits, he showcased his ability to secure substantial funding and cultivate strong relationships.
